Catalytic Converter Measuring System CCMS

System Overview

In the following you will find an overview of the performance of the Catalytic Converter Measuring System CCMS.
Measuring of the complete 3D contour of ceramic monoliths before and after the canning
All convex shaped parts are measurable
1:1 comparison between measured and desired contour, graphical display as differential vectors
Evaluation of the gap parameters, e.g. gap thickness and gap-bulk density, etc., also subject to orientation
Special evaluation parameters for customized canning methods, e.g. stuffing, wrapping, shrinking, spinning
Automatic PASS/FAIL assessment
Automatic part detection via barcode recognition,
Automatic calibration
Adequate for in-line measurement, ideal to perform 100%-testing
Mobile test cabinet for industrial applications with lockable sliding door
Effective dust protection of the moving mechanical components by means of a special encapsulated construction
Very high accuracy, sampling rate up to 10 kHz
Fully software controlled, automatic test cycles
Additional measurements and evaluations, e.g. height measurement, measurement of catalytic converters with multiple monoliths or cones
Software interfaces: Microsoft Office®, QS-Stat, others on request
Analog control outputs, common data interfaces for communication with production equipment
