Measurement and Analysis

The software uses the measurement data which has been preanalysed by the DIMOS measuring head as well as measurement data from external sources such as electronic weighing scales, micrometer screws etc. and analyses it with reference to saved specifications. The comparison between the programmed contour and the contour which is calculated from the measurement points is performed fully automatically.

A graphics window is provided for viewing the contours in which several layers can be hidden or shown for the purpose of superimposition. In addition, various geometric parameters such as distances and diameters can also be determined manually from the contours displayed.
